Qasr al-Nil misdemeanor court has delayed Egyptian businessman Kariem Shabrawi’s lawsuit against his ex-wife, the actress Rania Youssef. Judge Hany Laithi postponed the trial to May 15 in order to allow all parties to assemble the relevant documents. Al Shabrawi has accused Youssef of libel and defamation, alleging that his ex-wife asserted his liability for multiple business crimes in a series of damning media statements.
