Egyptian actress Reem Al Barodi expressed her pleasure for the notable success of her series “The Seven Girls” recently presented on a number of satellite channels, saying that she was expecting this success, as it discussed a number of issues related to each family in the Egyptian community.
She added, during an interview with “Arabs Today”, that the show discussed seven categories of girls existed in the Egyptian community, praising scenarist Ahmed Sobhy, as he managed to express the different visions adopted by these categories. She appreciated the positive reactions to her role during the series.
She added that she exerted a lot of efforts to perform the role of the tomboy who does not give the priority to her image, while focuses on achieving her dream to work to help her father. She denied what was published over difference with actress Ola Ghanem, describing her as her sister, saying that she enjoys good relations with the other actors who participated in the series.
She expressed her pleasure for participating in “Haleemo the Beach’s Legend” movie, saying that the movie provides her with the opportunity to present a new role. She added that the film is scheduled to be presented during the coming Spring Day.
She blamed the lack of good and attracting scenarios for the lack of her participation in cinematic works during the recent period. She said that she received a large number of offers to participate in cinema, while the scenarios she received were not suitable for her. She praised her participation in “My wife’s fiancée”, saying that it was good experience.
She added that she participates currently in “The International” TV drama show scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan, stressing her pleasure for joining the series staff that includes a number of superstars. She added that the series will be a turning point in her career.
