Egyptian artist Salah Abdallah has said he was "extremely annoyed" by rumours of his death which were circulating on social networking websites Facebook and Twitter on Monday morning. Abdallah told Arabstoday that a lot of his friends called him after they read the rumours, adding his family and friends were worried about him. The Ziab Al Jabal star said he was humbled to see how much people love him. "I want to thank everybody who called me from artists to fans, especially my dear friends Wafaa Amer and Mahmoud Yassin and his wife, the actress Shaheera and their daughter, Rania Mahmoud Yassin. They were all really scared and sad.”
