Sources revealed that Emirati Singer Ahlam has not withdrawn from the refereeing committee of Arab competition program “The Voice” scheduled to be presented during the coming season in MBC satellite channel.
The sources revealed that the decision to suspend the Emirati singer came after the suspension of the channel’s Director General Waleed Ibrahim in accusation of corruption. They added that the channel sent her a message to inform her that she will not remain in the program.
According to the sources, the singer was suspended from participating in the TV program after the decision taken by the Arab Quartet to boycott Qatar especially that the singer’s husband has the Qatari citizenship.
