Egyptian singer Sherine faces prosecution in Lebanon, as Lebanese journalist submitted a complaint against her before the court accusing her of defaming and insulting her. The court held a number of sessions, while the singer has not attended any of the sessions and did not send any lawyers to represent her during the trial.
The Egyptian singer fears the issuance of any arrest warrant against her during her participation in “Morix Dor Awards”, so she asked to check the nature of things around the issue decide whether to participate in that artistic and social evening.
