Lebanese singer and X-Factor Arabia judge Wael Kfoury has told Arabstoday that he is "flexible" in judging contestants on the talent show, because he remembers his own experience in front of judges on Studio el-Fann, the programme which helped launch his career. The singer said: "I want to create a laid back atmosphere where the contestants do not get hurt even by one word. Amateurs singers are always in a difficult position on these shows and they shouldn't be treated harshly." Kfoury, who said he enjoyed good chemistry with fellow judges Elissa, Carole Samaha and Hussein al-Jasmi, denied reports of a conflict with his record label, Rotana.
