Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou said on Sunday that 10 million tourists visited Egypt in 2014 compared to 9.5 million tourists in 2013.
During a press conference, Zaazou said the revenues from tourism increased by 20% in this year to hit 7.5 billion dollars versus 6 billion dollars in 2013.
Tourists' per-night spending average increased to $80 as well, Zaazou concluded.
