Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has stressed that the UAE is a favourite destination and a perfect environment for entrepreneurs and innovators from across the world to invest in their talents and use their leverage to serve humanity and achieve their goals.
"We have great expectations from entrepreneurs because we believe in their unlimited innovative ideas. They are drawing up the future with unrestrained determination and resolve. They are the foundation for vivid societies, the pillar of its business, economy, culture and other domains," H.H. Sheikh Mohammed said as he received a delegation from the United Nation's Global Entrepreneurs Council.
Welcoming the visiting council members he said, "We have great confidence in the young generation because they know their role and responsibilities and seek to have their own touch in the quest to make the future of their countries and peoples. They counter challenges to work out solutions and nothing is impossible for them. All they need is people who listen to them, support them and believe in their power."
"In the UAE, we have created a fully-integrated environment for development to nurture ideas generated by the youth and boosts entrepreneurship through a comprehensive system that fulfils all their needs in addition to training programmes and effective communication networks that materialise their ideas and turn them into real projects. We provided them opportunities to benefit from the experiences of outstanding first generation of entrepreneurs who helped found progress in the UAE," Sheikh Mohammed said.
He added, "We are all partners in this world. We are friends with all peoples of the world. Through this partnership, we look forward to working together in a responsible way and join our efforts to create a favourable environment for innovators and young entrepreneurs. The UAE opens its doors for them to be creative and innovative, familiarise themselves with our own successful experiences to develop their own projects and successful projects and take a position alongside the world's leaders and entrepreneurs."
Sheikh Mohammed also praised the United Nation's Global Entrepreneurs Council for choosing Dubai, a global modern hub for entrepreneurship, as the seat for its current two-year session.
Recently, the UN Global Entrepreneurship Council selected Ohood Al Roumi, Director-General of the Prime Minister Office of the UAE, as its first Arab member.
