Israeli security forces "neutralised" a knife-wielding attacker who lightly wounded three people in Jerusalem on Sunday, a police spokeswoman said.

The attack was apparently the latest in more than two months of "lone wolf" assaults by Palestinians challenging Israel's control over the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem.
