Belgian authorities found signs that the Brussels train station attacker backed the Islamic State jihadist group, prosecutors said Wednesday.

"There are indications that the suspect had sympathies for the terrorist organization IS," Belgian federal prosecutor's spokesman Eric Van Der Sypt said in a statement.
