An explosion rocked a market area in Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's southern home city of Davao on Friday night, killing people, local media reported.

10 people died in the blast, CNN Philippines reported, citing presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella, as it showed footage of security forces at the explosion site.
