A Syrian suspect arrested Monday in Germany over an alleged jihadist bomb plot is probably linked to the Islamic State group, police said.

"The approach and behaviour of the suspect point to an IS context," said Joerg Michaelis, chief investigator in the eastern state of Saxony.
