France on Thursday called for the United States to disclose the details of the Syria deal it brokered with Russia last week to its allies bombing jihadists in the war-torn country. 

"It is important that there be good information and I hope we will receive it quickly," French foreign minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said, referring to the US-Russia deal. "It seems to us that allies can certainly exchange information."
