Hundreds of migrants who had been stuck for days in makeshift refugee camps at train stations in Budapest were on Monday allowed to board internationational trains headed for Austria and Germany.

AFP correspondents at the scene said there were no security forces present as the migrants, many from Syria, rushed to get on commercial trains leaving for Vienna, Munich and Berlin.
