Russian warplanes have struck 118 "terrorist" targets in Syria over the past 24 hours in a new record, the defence ministry said on Wednesday, attributing the rise to new surveillance data.
Russian jets hit 118 targets in provinces of Idlib, Homs, Hama, Aleppo, Damascus and Latakia, said defence ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov, quoted by Russian news agencies.
