Russia on Thursday dismissed as "unconvincing" the findings of a UN-led investigation showing that Syrian government forces had carried out at least three chemical attacks.

Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin told the Security Council that the conclusions were "not substantiated," according to a text of his remarks delivered during a closed-door meeting.
