South Korean President Moon Jae-In

South Korean President Moon Jae-In on Thursday urged an easing of tensions over North Korea, warning of the risk of accidental war.

"The situation surrounding the North Korean nuclear issue needs to be managed stably so that tensions will not become overly intensified or accidental military clashes will not destroy peace," Moon told the UN General Assembly, where two days earlier US President Donald Trump threatened to "totally destroy" the North.
