Spain's King Felipe VI on Tuesday signed a decree dissolving parliament and calling elections for June 26, a parliament spokesman said, in what will be the country's second general election in six months.

The move comes after a midnight deadline for installing a new government passed, following an inconclusive December 20 general election that resulted in a hung parliament.
