Turkey's prime minister-designate on Thursday vowed to work in "total harmony" with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, minutes after being appointed the ruling party's sole candidate for PM.

"We will work in total harmony with all our party comrades at all levels, beginning with our founding president and leader," said Binali Yildirim, referring to Erdogan.
