Two people working for the EU were among those killed in an attack on a Mali tourist resort blamed on Islamic jihadists, EU foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini said Monday.

"Unfortunately, I can confirm that there were two victims among our EU colleagues, a Malian woman and a Portuguese man," Mogherini told a press conference after an EU foreign ministers meeting in Luxembourg.
