UN court orders Pakistan to stay execution of Indian 'spy'

The UN's top court on Thursday ordered Pakistan to stay the execution of an Indian national convicted of spying, in a high-profile legal case brought by New Delhi.

In an unanimous and binding decision on the fate of Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav, the International Court of Justice ruled that: "Pakistan shall take all measures at its disposal to ensure that Mr Jadhav is not executed pending the final decision in these proceedings."
