China's industrial output up 6.2% on-year in June: govt

China's industrial output rose 6.2 percent year-on-year in June, government statistics showed Friday, showing apparently resilient factory production despite weak global demand.

Retail sales in the world's second largest economy jumped 10.6 percent in June over the year before, the National Bureau of Statistics said, while fixed asset investment, a gauge of infrastructure spending, rose 9.0 percent in the first half of the year.
