Wall Street was back in rally mode Monday, with the Dow and S&P 500 finishing at records as Apple, Facebook and other tech shares posted strong gains.

At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was at 21,524.40, up 0.7 percent.

The broad-based S&P 500 jumped 0.8 percent to 2,453.01, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index gained 1.4 percent to 6,237.42.
