The United States is sending a total of $10 million in relief to help the victims of the Nepal earthquake, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday.

The top US diplomat sent his "deepest condolences" to the people of Nepal and said he had been shocked by the "gut-wrenching" images of the death and destruction.
