Britain's stock market scored a record high Tuesday as exporters were boosted by the weak pound, which has been dogged by fears of a hard Brexit.

At about 1110 GMT, London's FTSE 100 index of top blue-chip companies jumped to 7,128.34 points, beating the previous record that was set on 27 April 2015.
