Profits at budget airline Ryanair dropped eight percent in the third quarter owing to a sharp fall in the pound following Britain's decision to exit the EU, the Irish carrier reported Monday.

It said net profits fell to 95 million euros ($102 million) for the period ending December 31, 2016.
