US stocks fell sharply for the second session in a row Monday as global financial markets continued to reel from Britain's vote to leave the European Union.
At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was at 17,140.99, down 1.5 percent. The broad-based S&P 500 dropped 1.8 percent to 2,000.61, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index tumbled 2.4 percent to 4,594.44.
