HBO's political satire "Veep" -- the story of a hapless female US vice president who later becomes acting president -- on Sunday took home the Emmy for best comedy series.
The series – which stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who took home her fifth straight Emmy for the role earlier in the night -- defeated "black-ish," "Master of None," "Modern Family," "Silicon Valley," "Transparent" and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."
