Mayoof Al Romaihi stole the limelight again, and this time at the first round of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation Showjumping Championship which is held under the patronage of HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation.
The first round took place at the Bahrain Military Sports Federation course. Al Romaihi has won first and second place in the first level competition for youth category before triumphing in the second level for youth category. He rode different horses in the first level competition, achieving first on 34.23 seconds without committing any fault on horse Bresfal.
In his second attempt, Al Romaihi steered horse Mashalla, clocking 35.29 seconds, also without making any fault. Mayoof and Mashalla were unstoppable in the second level for youth category after posting an incredible time of 28.15 seconds, leaving second place to athlete Jameela Hassid who was almost three seconds behind the winner.
