U.S. television icon Bob Barker is to celebrate his 90th birthday with a special appearance on his former game show \"The Price is Right,\" CBS said. The show will pay homage to Barker throughout the week of Dec. 9-13. \"Each day, the show will feature pet adoptions, a cause dear to Barker\'s heart, leading up to his big day, Thursday, Dec. 12, when he\'ll surprise the studio audience with a rare appearance and present a special showcase,\" CBS said in a news release. Drew Carey has been the show\'s host since Barker retired in 2007. Barker started out on the show in 1972.
