Steven Spielberg's 2002 film

A Minority Report television series is in the works at Fox.
The show is based on Steven Spielberg's 2002 film, and takes place ten years later in 2064. The program will follow one of the movie's Precog characters as he struggles with continued visions of the future in a Precrime-free world. The Precog meets a female detective with a troubled past, and the pair team up to refocus his gift.
Minority Report starred Tom Cruise as Captain John Anderton, the chief of the Precrime police force. The unit used three mutated humans with precognitive abilities to stop murders before they happened, and Anderton himself was framed to hide the program's flawed system. The character was eventually cleared, and the Precrime program shut down.
Godzilla writer Max Borenstein has been tapped to pen the script, and will executive produce alongside Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, Paramount Television and 20th Century Fox are collaborating on the project.
