Lifetime has canceled "The Client List," starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and her real-life fiance Brian Hallisay, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday. The decision not to order a third season of the drama came after talks with the star and executive producer Hewitt broke down, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said. Hewitt reportedly wanted her real-life relationship with Hallisay and pregnancy written into the show, but the show's other producers didn't want to go in that direction. The series' ratings also slipped in its second season, the Reporter said.
