On August 23, the weather in Morocco will live up its reputation of four seasons in one day, with low clouds, misty formation, blazing hot weather, and rain showers.

The interior of the southern provinces, the southeast, Souss and the interior plains will experience their typical hot summer weather, said the National Meteorological Directorate.

The coast will be covered with low clouds at night and morning with misty formations in certain areas.

The Atlas and neighboring regions will see unstable cloud formations, thunderstorms, and scattered showers during the afternoon and the evening.

Tangier and the notherneastern areas in the southern provinces will be swept over with a weak to moderate eastern wind.

Minimum temperatures of 26 to 32° C will characterize the weather on the eastern provinces of the South, the Southeast, the interior of Souss and Chiadma, and the plains of Tadla, Rhamna, Tensift.

Weather in Tangier, Loukkos, Saiss, the plates of phosphate and Oulmes, and the interior of Gharb will be relatively less hot from 22 to 26° C .

Fierce sun and a temperature of around 43 to 47° C are expected in the east and the interior of the southern provinces and the Souss.

The southeast, the plains of Tadla, Rhamna, Tensift, and the interior of the Chiadma will see temperatures varying from 39 to 43° C.

The Oriental, the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmes Plates, the Loukkos and the interior of Gharb, Chaouia, Doukkala, and Abda will be less hot with temperatures between 34 and 39° C.

The eastern Mediterranean and the interior of the Atlantic plains will enjoy beach-weather ranging from 29 to 34° C.

The sea is expected to remain calm during the day with little agitation in the Mediterranean, Tarfaya, and Dakhla and little agitated to agitated elsewhere
