Relatively cold conditions are expected to prevail for the coming two days in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.
Low clouds are also expected in the northern and central regions with a chance for light showers in the northern areas, while winds will be southwesterly moderate with fog formation leading to low visibility at night , the JMD added.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Wednesday with a chance for scattered rain in the northern parts of the country extending gradually in the afternoon to the central areas. Winds will be westerly moderate to brisk, the department noted.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the southern cities will reach 14 degrees Celsius and 16 in the northern governorates, dropping down to 8, 6 and 11 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 12 degrees at night, the JMD added.
