David Gandy at Men’s Fashion Week London – Caroline Kent Red Nose Day's 2013 fashion ambassador David Gandy launched the Blue Steel charity appeal at men’s fashion week in London yesterday. The Blue Steel Appeal – inspired by satirical comedy movie Zoolander - is a series of fashion events and initiatives that will take place during 2013 to raise money for charity Comic Relief. Gandy will head up a fashion committee comprised of British Fashion Council chief executive Caroline Rush, vogue.co.uk editor Dolly Jones, GQ editor Dylan Jones, Comic Relief marketing director Michelle Settle, model Poppy Delevingne, photographer Rankin, stylist and magazine editor Sophia Neophitou and co-founder of Select Model Management, Tandy Anderson. Meanwhile, the second day of Mens Fashion Week began with a Burberry breakfast hosted by the brand and British actor Harry Treadaway at the Burberry Menswear store in Knightsbridge. 100 guests including Tinie Tempah and the omnipresent Dylan Jones tucked in to blueberry muffins and a selection from the spring/summer 2013 collection (Burberry plan on showing their autumn/winter range in Milan). The other big tickets for Tuesday were Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Nicole Farhi and the English Gentlemen of Savile Row.
