The luxury brand is honoring the 15th anniversary of its famous Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara by introducing a new and improved formula. Enriched with natural oils and vitamins, the new formula is said to better respond to the demands of today's women.
2015 will be the year of hybrid makeup, at least at Yves Saint Laurent Beauty. After presenting Volupté Tint-In-Oil, a conditioning lip color, the French brand is combining care and cosmetics in yet another item: its Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara.
While the original formula (invented in 2000) remains mostly unchanged, Yves Saint Laurent decided to tweak it slightly to obtain a texture that remains fresh, nourishing and flexible all day or night.
To this end, the original formula has been enriched with four oils (argan, safflower, sweet almond and ricin) and a pro-vitamin B5 complex.
YSL Beauty will release the 2015 edition of its signature mascara in seven shades, which range from Noir Haute Densité and Noir Radical (both black) to Bourgogne (burgundy) and Bleu Extrême (blue).
The new Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils will go on sale from January 26 for €32 (around $39).
