Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Salah Helal referred Tuesday officials of the central and joint Qena associations to the prosecutor general over reports by the ministry's follow-up committees on violations.

The officials face charges of squandering public funds and failing to achieve the associations' goals.

Helal underlined that he would not condone any corruption in the ministry and its associations.
