The Alexandria Port Authority decided Wednesday to reopen Alexandria and el Dekhila straits to navigation after an amelioration in weather conditions.
The closure decision was made to avoid any collision between ships and to guarantee safe navigation, authority head Abdel Kader Darwish said.
