Cairo - MENA
Consultations between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia are ongoing to reach a consensus on several important technical points concerning the studies of the impacts of the Renaissance Dam, the Irrigation Ministry said Friday.
Spokesman for the ministry Alaa Yassin told MENA that the studies aim at identifying the environmental, social and economic effects of the dam on the two downstream countries.
Yassin said the final deadline for receiving the amended technical bids from the two consultation companies will be carefully considered in Cairo by representatives from the three African countries and the companies.
