Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi said on Tuesday that coordination is underway with the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) to legalize the status of the old factories, which pump its sanitation water to Lake Manzala.
On the sidelines of an inspection visit to Lake Manzala, Moghazi said this move aims at developing fisheries in Port Said governorate.
He added that the new factories should have water treatment units to obtain building licenses.
