Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has honoured DEWA’s partners including national, public, and private organisations, as well as the media, at the annual appreciation ceremony.
This supports the vision of Dubai’s wise leadership, and also affirms DEWA’s commitment to care for its partners, and their role in achieving strategic objectives.
The ceremony was attended among others by Suhail Mohamed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei Minister of Energy, Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Abdulla Al Shaibani, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Dubai, Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director-General of Dubai Land Department, Mohammed Jamil Al Ramahi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar).
"Our teamwork has resulted in DEWA achieving 85.11 percent in its Partners Happiness Score in 2016, for both strategic and main partners, compared to 81.39 percent in 2015. This is in addition to great achievements in all the key sectors of our business, which include traditional and renewable energy, creativity, innovation, and sustainability. I sincerely thank you all for your being here today, and hope that our partnership will continue to grow to benefit our country, to achieve a brighter future for us all," Al Tayer said.
