EcoCity World Summit

EcoCity World Summit kicked off here on Sunday at bu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and runs for three days with the participation of a galaxy of local, regional and international experts from Egypt, Arab, European and Asian countries.

Ecocity World Summit’s debut in the Middle East will tackle the issues around building ecocities in challenging environments and serve as the platform upon which Abu Dhabi and the region will carry their ecocity visions forward.

More than 70 speakers, including ministers, experts and academics will engage with leaders in government, academics, private sector and civil society to discuss, create and apply solutions that enable the development of sustainable cities around the world.

A collaborative platform for researchers and academia, Ecocity World Summit aims to advance the state of thinking and to inspire the next generation of ideas, projects and strategies for ecocities of the future.

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouli will shed light on the projects of the New Cairo.

Ecocity World Summit aims to unite people through a new way of living on the planet that provides the best possible cities while enhancing, not destroying, the biosphere.
