Egypt, Sudan and Jordan displayed their expertise in the field of the reduction of natural disasters resulting for floods.

This came during the first consultative meeting of the national coordinators of UNESCO project on urgent development of national capabilities of natural disasters risks resulting from the seasonal floods which started in the UNESCO HQs in Cairo on Tuesday.

The project coordinator Diaa al Qousi said the Red Sea and Sinai were the most affected areas as a result of torrential rains, praising Saudi Arabia's efforts to deal with the floods.
