An Egyptian engineer on Tuesday urged parties to join a lawsuit he had filed to stop the construction of Ethiopia's renaissance dam.
The case filed by Ibrahim el Fayyoumi against Italy's Salini Construction company, which is building the dam, will be probed by Zainhom Court Wednesday.
Fayyoumi wants more plaintiffs to join the case to be able to go to the International Court of Justice.
Fayyoumi said the Italian company has not adhered to international standards in building the dam.
