Cairo police are launching a campaign to clear the streets of Zamalek of encroachments.
The campaign targeted a number of coffee shops and cafeterias that have no permits on Tuesday, said chairman of Western Cairo municipality Yassin Abdel-Bari.
He told MENA the campaign followed directives by Cairo governor Galal Moustafa el-Saeid.
It will continue until discipline is restored to Zamalek neighborhood, Abdel-Bari noted.
