Head of the Operation Department of the General Company for Electricity Mostafa Sharkas on Tuesday said that electrical power was cut off in the area from Benghazi to the border area with Egypt.
In press statements, he added that they will seek a backup from the Egyptian power grid to restore the electrical current.
