Alexandria Governor Tarek Mahdi agreed on Wednesday to a proposal to set up a waste-derived fertilizer plant in the Mediterranean city. The proposal is submitted by the National Bank of Egypt. He said the new plant is based on recycling agricultural and industrial waste to produce waste. The request for proposal for the piece of land on which the factory will be built will be available within the coming period, he added.
