Fishing in the Gulf of Suez resumed on Tuesday after a four-month hiatus.

In statements Tuesday, Bakry Abul Hassan, the head of Suez's fishermen syndicate, urged fishermen to increase production and avoid upping fish prices.

He urged fishermen also to avoid fishing-banned areas, like the Suez Canal.
