Heavy to moderate rains accompanied by thunder and lightening lashed Fujairah Monday. The rain continued to fall for one and a half hours, leading to water pools in the streets of the emirate and its nearby and mountainous areas. According to weathermen, the sky is still overcast and there is a good chance of more rain soon.
