The falconry festival today moves its activities to downtown Al Ain, opening up to the public for three days. Activities will be concentrated at the historic Jahili Fort and the adjacent Jahili Park starting at 10am and running through to the grand parade of nations at 6.30pm, according to festival organisers. Entry is free. Visitors will have the chance to meet with falconers from all over the world Performances from Austria, Belgium, China, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Pakistan, the UAE and the UK will be staged. The organisers have invited expatriate communities in the UAE to come in national dresses. Judging for the photography competition on subjects relating to falconry will also be held today. All finalists will be given an eight-day return package trip from their home to Abu Dhabi.
